View from the balcony, day 11. At least there’s a horizon
Not much to say about the day as sea days are becoming more and more relaxed in the room. Temps were in the upper 50’s today, and I’m finding it quite comfortable. The sea, as you might note, has calmed down a fair bit, with gentle rolls. We had about 15 minutes of sunshine which was nice. I’m still not used to what little night there is being eternal dusk.
The people on the ship have been great. They are really friendly, always saying hello as we pass in the hallways, and we’ve had some great conversations with folks. I suppose it’s a reflection of more traveled passengers (there are 350 4-Star Mariners on board, which means they’ve taken a LOT of cruises on this line, and that’s a third of the ship).
Tomorrow starts the whirlwind tour of Norway, 4 days, 4 ports, lots of scenery. I hopefully can keep up with the blog!
